yumインストールを実行した際、下記エラーが表示されてる場合の対処法です。
※例ではClamAVのインストール

エラー内容
Error: Cannot retrieve metalink for repository: epel. Please verify its path and try again

# yum install -y clamd
Loaded plugins: fastestmirror, security
Determining fastest mirrors
Error: Cannot retrieve metalink for repository: epel. Please verify its path and try again

■yumをデバッグモードで実施
# URLGRABBER_DEBUG=1 yum install clamd > debug.log
※debug.logファイルに実行結果が保存されます。

debug.logファイルの内容を確認すると下記エラーメッセージを確認。
exception: [Errno 14] problem making ssl connection
INFO:urlgrabber:exception: [Errno 14] problem making ssl connection

上記エラーが表示された場合は、ネットワーク・セキュリティサービス(nss)を
アップデートする必要があります。まず、下記コマンドを実行します。
# yum install -y nss

nssアップデート終了後、再度ClamAVのインストールを実施します。
# yum install -y clamd
